I am a Priestess of The Holy Spirit and Our Heavenly Parents, with a personal practice centered on Heavenly Mother.
I draw heavily upon the teachings of the Mormon tradition I was raised in, and which I was originally ordained to the priesthood in in 2001 by my dad, but my current path is outside of institutional religion-- although aligned closely with Reform Mormonism. My personal faith also contains inspiration gained from many other sources, primarily gnosticism and liberation theology.
my personal cosmology has the godhead consisting of Sophia-Eve-Asherah, a Heavenly Mother; Michael-Adam-El, a Heavenly Father; unnumbered and unknown other Heavenly Parents of any and all genders who are also part of the Godhead (just not the two who descended into Eden), and the Holy Spirit who is a panentheistic force of divine Love ("God is Love") that unites and exalts individual humans into exalted sealed groups of Elohim.
The Holy Spirit unites in purpose but not in substance the persons who comprise each Godhead. Sometimes I conceptualise of the Spirit as being emergent from such Divine Love and other times I see the Spirit as the pre-existing Monad that originally uplifted the first Intelligences ( Emergent Holy Spirit vs Causal Holy Spirit models or modals)
a "Christ" is anyone who has so connected to this Holy Spirit of Love and Promise to the point where they can achieve miracles in alignment with the Divine Will of the Holy Ghost, a state in which they have some degree of their full Divine potential while still in mortality
The work of the Holy Spirit is to overcome the urges of the Demiurge who I see not as personified (at least not necessarily) but as the baser urges that lead one to desire to control or dominate others and which leads inevitably to pain and darkness. This devil is overcome by Love and that is the process, as I see it, by which we Exalt into divinity
I don't really believe in Hell or anything as a concrete inevitability of sin, nor do I think we face the judgement of any God outside ourselves. Rather I think in the post- (or inter-)mortal state we remember Everything and the weight of our own wrongdoings may cause us to pass for a time into our own personal Outer Darkness until such a time as we feel we have adequately reflected on our wrongs and go willingly back into mortality for another round of testing
My goal is to provide compassionate, affirming, and caring pastoral care and service for those who seek it outside of institutional churches and organised faiths, regardless of doctrinal differences. So long as they come in honesty and good faith, all are welcome
